FTTP is a broadband connection that uses fibre optic cables to deliver internet directly to a home or business premises. These cables come from the broadband exchange and are known as a full-fibre connection. 

Travelling at two-thirds of light speed, these fibre optic cables are made from glass ensuring better latency and speeds.

FFTC is a broadband connection that uses fibre optic cables that connect to the nearest exchange to roadside cabinets. From these cabinets, traditional copper lines will deliver an internet connection to your home or business premises. 

This is a slower connection than FTTP full-fibre.

FTTP is the type of connection you get with full-fibre broadband. This is a direct connection from the exchange to your business premises.

The minimum VoIP internet speed requirement is 90-100 kbps (kilobit per second) per phone. This must be multiplied by each further handset you wish to use at the same time.
